Phil has experience managing non-profit businesses, having worked for the YMCA in different parts of the country for the past 20 years. His soccer background is just as extensive, having coached, directed leagues, and served on boards for the development of soccer.
He has earned a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education and a Master's degree in Human Services Administration.
He holds a 'C' Coaching License with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF, US Soccer) and an Advanced National Diploma with the United Soccer Coaches (USC), formerly the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Phil has coached and managed all ages of soccer players, from under 4's, youth, high school through college and adult teams.
As our Administrative Assistant, Randy helps HYSA communicate effectively with our players, families and coaches.
Having recently moved to the area, he became involved with soccer by watching his youngest daughter enjoy and play the game since third grade.
He is a certified referee, starting down the path from the travel team's ask to fill the need for a referee.
He can't usually be found when fly fishing in his free time.
