About Academy
Academy Soccer's main emphasis is on skill development: the personal technical soccer skills the player needs to advance in soccer.
Commitment level is higher than Recreational league, with travel and as players practice at least twice a week and play on Saturdays. Saturdays and Sundays if at a tournament.
Academy Soccer includes ages 11U & 10U. Boys and Girls have separate teams.
U9s; anyone wishing to register a U9-year-old should contact our Academy Director Greg Bibeau at gregbibeau@gmail.com
Generally; U9s need to be in third grade, birth date before June 30th of their birth year.
When their birth year reaches U10 per USYS the players stay at U10.
Players do need to purchase a uniform separately from the program fees. Uniforms are usually updated every two years.
Academy teams will play a travel schedule and play in our local tournaments that are included in the program fees. Efforts are made to keep travel close to home for matches.
Scheduling is done by the Clubs participating in Friendlies for these age groups. We will know which club site we will be at for Play Dates through the season ahead of time, but actual times of games are provided by host clubs the week of the Play Dates.
U10 Games are played 7v7 goal keepers included.
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches to join our staff coaches to be trainers and/or match managers. Trainers instill in the players the skills needed to continue playing the best soccer. Match Managers take the players through games reinforcing knowledge learned at training sessions.
