A little bit about our coaches:
Natalie Allen is a dedicated goalkeeper coach studying Structural Civil Engineering at Montana State University. Holding a USSF D license and United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level 2 diploma, she is committed to continuous growth and is working toward her USSF C and Level 3 certifications. She developed her love for goalkeeping while playing club soccer in Portland, Oregon, with Crossfire United ECNL (now Oregon Surf ECNL), the Portland Thorns Academy, and the ODP Region IV Pool. She was fortunate to learn from energetic and knowledgeable coaches who made the game both challenging and enjoyable. Now as a coach, she is committed to fostering that same passion in goalkeepers of all ages and levels.
Emily Evanson started playing goalkeeper in elementary school because her brother did and she thought he was cool. She soon took her own liking to the position and continued playing for her club and school teams through high school. She attended California Baptist University where she was the starting goalkeeper for three years, leading the team to a record 13 shutouts her senior year. Emily has coached kids as young as four and up to the collegiate level, including being the goalkeeper coach at Northwest University for 4 seasons (2012-15). Emily continues to play GK for an adult rec league.
