COACHING REQUIREMENTS
GotSport, SafeSport, Credentials, Testing, Training, Background Checks

Competitive coaches are required to complete all necessary training through the GOTSPORT platform before being rostered. The system will not allow roster placement until these requirements are fulfilled.

Training Components:

  • Head's Up: Concussion training.

  • Background Check: Mandatory screening.

  • SafeSport Training: Comprehensive safety and conduct training.

To access these requirements, log into your GOTSPORT account and navigate to your dashboard—this is similar to the process for accessing SafeSport.

MYSA
Game Cards, Roster, Player & Bench Cards, Team Referees

For MYSA matches, the coach is responsible for providing the center referee with a printed Game Card. In addition, the coach must present a complete roster and cards for all players and bench personnel.

During the MYSA Spring competitive season, your team's designated referee will be notified of their assignment—via their referee GOTSOCCER account—by the Thursday prior to the match.
