HYSL:

  • What age groups does the club cater to? 
    Kindergarten to 8th Grade

  • How do I register my child for the club?
    Through the links provided on the HYSA website.

  • Are tryouts required for team placement?
    No. Tryouts are not required for team placement.

  • When and where are practices held?
    Practices are weekdays in the late afternoon/evenings. Volunteer coaches determine practice days/times at our meeting prior to the start of the season. Practices are held at the Siebel Soccer Complex.

  • When is the game season and what is the schedule like?
    Each season varies based on the holidays, tournaments and field conditions. Typically, the 7-weeks fall season is within September-October and the spring season is within April-May. Games are Sunday afternoons with a possible Friday evening game.

  • How are players assigned to teams?
    Players are assigned teams based on a combination of age/grade level, gender and school. All possible needs are taken into consideration.

  • Who are the coaches and how are they qualified? 
    Coaches are volunteers, mostly parent-volunteers, who have passed a background check and taken our required safety courses.


COST AND FEES:

  • What is the registration fee for the season?
    Each season varies. Spring 2025 is $110/player.

  • Are there additional costs for uniforms or equipment?
    Jersey and socks are included with registrations. Player is responsible for purchasing black shorts, shin guards and cleats.

  • Does the club offer any financial assistance options? 
    Yes. We have scholarships available. For more information go to Resources ---> Financial Aid.

MICRO:

  • What age groups does the club cater to? 
    3-5 year olds

  • How do I register my child for the club?
    Through the links provided on the HYSA website.

  • Are tryouts required for team placement?
    No. Tryouts are not required for team placement.

  • When and where are practices held?
    No weekday practices. Playdates are Sunday afternoons at the Siebel Soccer Complex.

  • When is the game season and what is the schedule like?
    Each season varies based on the holidays, tournaments and field conditions. Typically, the fall season is 5 weeks within September-October. Spring season is 5 weeks within April-May.

  • How are players assigned to teams?
    Players are assigned in groups based on ages. All possible needs are taken into consideration.

  • Who are the coaches and how are they qualified? 
    Coaches are typically parent-volunteers.


COST AND FEES:

  • What is the registration fee for the season?
    Each season varies. Spring 2025 is $70/player.

  • Are there additional costs for uniforms or equipment?
    Colored t-shirts are provided with registration. Shin guards and cleats are recommended but not required.

  • Does the club offer any financial assistance options?
